Micro Gates BD Warranty Policy

At Micro Gates BD, we are committed to providing reliable products and dependable after-sales support. Warranty coverage varies depending on the product, brand, manufacturer, distributor, and warranty terms specified at the time of purchase.

Please read the following warranty policy carefully before purchasing or submitting a warranty claim.

1. Warranty Coverage

Products sold by Micro Gates BD may carry one of the following types of warranty:

  • Official Brand Warranty
  • Manufacturer Warranty
  • Distributor Warranty
  • Seller Warranty
  • Service Warranty

The applicable warranty period and warranty provider will be mentioned on the product page, invoice, or warranty card or at the time of purchase.

Where applicable, Micro Gates BD will assist customers in submitting warranty claims to the relevant manufacturer, distributor, or authorised service centre.

2. Warranty Claim Requirements

To process a warranty claim, customers may be required to provide:

  • Original purchase invoice or invoice number
  • Product serial number
  • Warranty card, if applicable
  • Complete product and accessories
  • Original packaging, where required
  • Description of the problem or fault

Customers are advised to keep their invoice, warranty documents, serial number, and product packaging safely.

3. Warranty Service Process

If a product develops a manufacturing or functional defect during its applicable warranty period:

  1. Contact Micro Gates BD customer support.
  2. Provide your invoice/order information and product details.
  3. Our support team will assess the issue and provide instructions.
  4. The product may need to be submitted to Micro Gates BD, the distributor, or an authorised service centre.
  5. Depending on the warranty terms, the product may be repaired, replaced, or otherwise serviced.
  6. The final warranty decision will be made according to the applicable brand/manufacturer/distributor warranty conditions.

Warranty service time may vary depending on the product, availability of spare parts, manufacturer/distributor procedures, and the nature of the problem.

4. Warranty Does Not Cover

Warranty generally does not cover damage caused by:

  • Physical or accidental damage
  • Broken, cracked, or damaged components
  • Liquid, water, or moisture damage
  • Burn, short circuit, voltage fluctuation, power surge, or lightning damage
  • Improper installation or misuse
  • Unauthorized repair, modification, or servicing
  • Damage caused by incompatible components, adapters, chargers, or power supplies
  • Scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage
  • Missing, damaged, or altered serial numbers or warranty stickers
  • Damage caused by negligence or improper handling
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Software problems caused by unauthorized modification or improper use

Specific products may have additional exclusions according to their manufacturer’s warranty terms.

5. Processor, Motherboard & Component Warranty

For products such as processors, motherboards, graphics cards, RAM, and other PC components, a warranty may be refused where damage is caused by the following:

  • Bent, broken, or damaged CPU/motherboard pins
  • Physical damage
  • Burn marks or electrical damage
  • Rust or corrosion
  • Liquid or moisture damage
  • Unauthorized modification or repair
  • Improper installation
  • Damaged or removed serial-number stickers

Customers should take particular care when installing CPUs, RAM, graphics cards, and other sensitive components.

6. Monitor & Display Warranty

The monitor warranty is subject to the specific manufacturer’s or distributor’s dead-pixel policy.

Dead-pixel warranty claims will therefore be evaluated according to the applicable brand/model policy. Cosmetic damage, scratches, cracks, pressure damage, liquid damage, or physical impact are generally not covered.

Customers should retain the monitor’s original box and accessories when submitting a warranty claim where required.

7. Keyboard, Mouse & Combo Products

For keyboard-and-mouse combo products, the complete combo set and applicable accessories may be required when submitting a warranty claim.

Individual components may not be accepted separately where the manufacturer’s warranty requires the complete bundled product.

8. Accessories & Consumables

Warranty coverage for accessories, cables, adapters, batteries, chargers, power supplies, printer cartridges, toner, and other consumable items may differ by product and manufacturer.

Customers should check the specific warranty terms before purchase.

9. Warranty Sticker & Serial Number

Warranty may become void if:

  • The warranty/security sticker has been removed or damaged.
  • The product serial number has been removed, altered, damaged, or become unreadable.
  • The product has been opened or repaired by an unauthorised person or service centre.

10. Replacement Policy

If a product cannot be repaired under the applicable warranty terms, replacement may be provided where permitted by the manufacturer or distributor.

Replacement is subject to product availability and the applicable warranty policy. A replacement may not necessarily be the same physical unit if the original model is unavailable.

11. Warranty Shipping & Transportation

For warranty claims, customers may be required to send or bring the product to the designated service location.

Any applicable transportation, courier, or shipping charges will depend on the product, warranty provider, location, and applicable warranty terms.

Customers should contact Micro Gates BD before sending a warranty product.

12. Important Notice

Warranty periods and conditions are product-specific. The warranty mentioned on the product page, invoice, or warranty card or provided by the manufacturer/distributor will take priority over general information on this page.

Micro Gates BD acts as a facilitator for applicable manufacturer/distributor warranty services where required and cannot guarantee a particular repair or replacement outcome when the final decision rests with the manufacturer, distributor, or authorised service centre.

13. How to Contact Us

For warranty assistance, please contact Micro Gates BD with your order number, invoice information, product name, and a brief description of the problem.
